Bad habits are not a solution to anything. Instead, it takes you down to a deeper pit of anxiety and depression. Bad habits may arouse your good feelings at the moment you endulge yourself into it, but for sure it doesn't last for long and the repercussion/consequences thereafter is known and undeniable. With my silver hair, I had never witnessed any good that came from bad habits, then destructions, lost, unreversable damages or regrets.
With my optical eyes, I have witnessed wrecked homes, marriages dissolved, young people losing directions in life, losing their minds, falling into deeper depression and taking their own lives.
Bad habits seems to be good and entertaining at the begininig, but grandually moving towards destruction, to the pit of no return. I have witnessed young people moving towards this pit of no return because they tend to feel lonely, rejected and lost of belonging.
Now, let me tell you something, Little children. People love, care, appreciate, value someone who is going somewhere in life. Someone with a promising future. Someone who push forward in life, helping himself or herself to get somewhere in life. They admire, support and want to be associated with such a person. They are always keen to be part of such success and love to walk with such people unto their perfect day.
But, when you take the path, going down the pit, first they would feel sorry for you. Thinking that you have a problem. They would rise to help where they can. As the times goes by, they would expect you to improve, shake off that problem or that challenge and pick up the pieces. Normally, bad habit are seen as a problem. From being a problem to habit, from habit to life style. You'd better manage your problems or challenges with all the possible help and pshychotherapies that is out there to help, before they turn into habits, as it is easy for a habit to turn into a life style.
When that happen. people easily give up on others and see those habits as part of who they are. So it can be no longer considered as a problem to be helped or to be attended to, as it become their representation of who they are. That becomes the myth. In order for them not to be affected directly or indirectly by these, they start to turn a blind eye on them. As a result, the affected one will starts feeling the rejection, loneliness, lost of belonging. From there it furthers into deeper substance abuse, mental illness and other worse scenarios. But, who is the cause of all of these?
Every person have their own life to live, their own internal and external battles to fights. Many claims that it can be overwhelming to jump into others shoes and handle their unending problems generated by their own choises of life. That's why it end up like they have rejected their loved ones.
Wake up my litte one and take head. You are a human being just like anybody else. What others can do, you too can do. Dust off yourself. Seek help, while there's still time. As long as you are still alive, there is hope for you. Do not despair.
